1WHAT IS YOUR BOAT SCHEDULE ?
Time tables of the dive boat: the morning dives starts at 8:30 am (2 tanks), the afternoon one (1 tank) at 2:30 pm. In the morning the boats do not come back between the dives.
2DO YOU COME BACK BETWEEN DIVES ?
No we don’t.
3DO YOU CHANGE DIVE SITES EVERY DAY ?
We offer 3 tanks a day from the boat, each one in a different dive spot.
4DO YOU OFFER SHORE DIVES ?
We also offer guided shore dives on request or unlimited unguided shore dives at one of the best sites on the island (Mandy’s Eel Garden), located only a few feet from the resort. Unguided shore dives can be done between 9:00am and 3:00pm.
5DO YOU HAVE A MAXIMUM DIVE TIME ?
Max. dive time from the boat is 50 minutes, with 1-hour surface interval. From the shore, you’re allowed unlimited dive time, but must return with 700 psi).
6DO YOU HAVE SOMEONE HELPING WITH THE EQUIPMENT ?
We have free valet service: all the equipment is handled by our dive team so divers will find it ready for use on the boat. For shore dives, you will receive assistance from tank crews.
7DO YOU HAVE NITROX? DO YOU HAVE BIG TANKS ?
Nitrox tanks are available for an additional US$5 per dive. If you take the Nitrox Specialty Course, you will be diving with nitrox free of charge. We have 100cc tanks at no extra cost.
8WHAT IS THE SIZE OF YOUR BOATS AND HOW MANY PEOPLE IN A GROUP ?
One of our boats is 34 feet with a max. 18 divers. The other boat is 40 feet,with a max. 22 divers. We never exceed the max ratio of 8:1, unless the group requires staying together, in which case we will send an extra dive master on board.
9WHERE CAN I STORE MY EQUIPMENT ?
We offer secure lockers where we can store your diving gear after we have finished cleaning it for you. We have showers next to the lockers for your convenience.
10CAN I SHARE MY DIVE PACKAGE WITH MY SON ?
The dive packages are per person and NOT divisible among divers. And night dive and shark dive are NOT included in any dive packages.
11IF I BOOK A DIVE PACKAGE ON LINE AND THE WEATHER IS BAD OR I FEEL SICK WOULD IT BE REFUNDED ?
The on line packages are NOT refundable.
12HOW MANY DAYS TO BE CERTIFIED? WHAT’S THE SCHEDULE ?
The SSI Open Water course takes 3-4 days to complete and consists of watching video, reading the manual, quizzes, skills practice in the pool, swim test, and 4 ocean dives. The price is US$369 each and is all-inclusive (manual, equipment, etc).

Most individuals complete the full course, but Scuba Diver is another option. It can usually be completed in 2 days and costs US$259.00. It is basically completing two thirds of the Open Water course, and you can always upgrade and finish the full course at a later date. There are 2 actual dives for this course and the cost again is all-inclusive.

If you would like to complete the book/video portion ahead of time, you can go on the SSI website and complete the e-learning. Then the price to do the pool work and dives with us is US$360.

If there is an SSI dive shop near you, you could also complete the pool work ahead of time and just come to do the ocean dives with us. Our cost here then would be US$229.
13DO YOU OFFER RESORT DIVES ?
Try Scuba Diving is conducted in confined water/pool and a dive in the open water environment at the maximum depth of 40 ft. The intent is to provide non-divers with a few of the required skills needed to experience an enjoyable open water dive. The dive could be credited toward the Scuba Diver Course and Open Water Course when done within 6 months of completing the Try Scuba Diving program. The cost is US$115 including the use of dive equipment, sales tax not included.
14DO YOU RENT SNORKELING GEAR? DO YOU OFFER SNORKELING TOURS ?
We rent full snorkeling gear for US$10 a day and gear is also for sale in our shop.

We have snorkeling tours from the dive boats every day at the cost of US$20 and guided night snorkeling from the shore with amazing encounters at the cost of US$35, including dive lights rental.
